Searching a text field in Access for specific word

Normally I would do a contains query if just in access, but using InfoPath I am not sure how I can submit a query that operates like contains. I need to be able to find certain words or phrases that might appear in a cell.

    Any thoughts?

    Hi DonaldRLongII,

Do like this, take a text field and a button. Apply a rule on the button by double clicking -> Add -> Set Condition.

In the first combo box take field1 and 2nd combo box take contains and in 3rd combo box select text and type you text and click ok.

After that click Add Action Button and apply an action what ever you want.

Hope this will help you. If you want more details let us discuss.
