    Populate dropdown with 2 fields from a webservice

    Hello

    I have to populate a dropdown list with fields from a webservice.

    It's easy if a field from the output of the webservice is what to display in the dropdown list, but here, the value must be department+sub-department (twice are send in the output of the webservice.

    Have you an idea on how to do that?
    I try in Jscript, but I've a problem with the dataadapter.

    Could you help me?
    Thank you.

    Here is an example of the output of my webservice :

    <NewDataSet xmlns="">
    - <Table diffgr:id="Table1" msdata:rowOrder="0">
    <CodeService>2000</CodeService>
    <Service>INFORMATIONS MICRO-ECONOMIQUES</Service>
    <Dienst>MICRO-ECONOMISCHE INFORMATIE</Dienst>
    <AfkDpt>DD</AfkDpt>
    <AfkDienst xml:space="preserve"></AfkDienst>
    </Table>
    - <Table diffgr:id="Table2" msdata:rowOrder="1">
    <CodeService>2027</CodeService>
    <Service>ANALYSE MICRO-ECONOMIQUE</Service>
    <Dienst>MICRO-ECONOMISCHE ANALYSE</Dienst>
    <AfkDpt>DD</AfkDpt>
    <AfkDienst>AM</AfkDienst>
    </Table>
    .
    .
    .
    </NewDataSet>

    the fieds I have to concat are AfkDpt and AfkDienst

    Hi Belote and welcome to our forum,
    Have you considered creating a separate field that concatenates the two?

    Thank you for your welcome.
    I don't have access to the webservice, so I can't modify it.

    In fact my question is is ther a solution to do it in normal way or have I to call the webserice in code, get the output, do a loop to concat and add 1 per 1 in the dropdown list?

    thank you for your help
