Auto Populate Fields from Drop-Down Selection

    Hi,
    I already tried this tutorialhttp://www.infopathdev.com/howto/tutorials/default.aspx?i=9111ef580f95479890fc18fb2c5bac85
and it works fine. The problem is when I do the same with a form connected to an Access db, and append the [../ID = current()] xml statement at the end of the Xpath it doesnt work as it is supposed to. What do i do wrong?

    Hi Lorenzo,
Check once the XPath of the field is given correctly.

Re: Auto Populate Fields from Drop-Down Selection

I am having the same problem. I have a database with only two tables. One table containing names to populate the drop down list. The second table to write the name selected from the drop down list. I have a form with a drop down list and a text box (bound to the field in the 2nd table in the database). Populating the drop down list is without a problem. However, the text box field will NOT populate what I selected in the drop down list.

In the drop down list, I create a rule to set the field of the second database with the value of the selected drop down list "xdXDocument:GetDOM("Clients")/dfs:myFields/dfs:dataFields/d:Clients/@Name[@Name = current()]".

If I take out the [@Name=current()] then the text box will populate but repeats the same value over an over.

    Any suggestion?
