Hi,

Good day. I just want to inquire if the SharePoint List Tool (mapping tool) has the ability to map fields but trimming the value using a formula? For example, I have a field called "Order" which exceeds 255 characters so I want to trim the value like substring(fieldname, 1, 255) so that if the SubmitToSharePointList command is executed, the value on the "Order" field will still be save on the list because the number of characters had been trim to 255 characters.

Hi, Rommel - no, it does not. You can add another field to your data source (not displayed on your form) with a default value for this and map that instead.

 Thanks for the advice Hilary. I was planning to have the update to my form without adding new fields but in that case, I think I really need to add a new field. Thanks in advance.
