InfoPath Dev

Dear All,

I need to have a field in my form where when I drag mouse on it, it display information of another field. 

I found that option responsible for this is ScreenTip in advance tab of the field proprieties.

However I have no Idea how to configure it to uery info from the it own field or another one.

 

Is it possible ? thank you,

Happy New Year to you as well - this is not possible within the InfoPath UI. It may be possible to manually modify the transform file for this - but if the form will be used in the browser, InfoPath Forms Services often won't support such manual modifications, so you may just not be able to implement this - I'm sorry for the bad news!

And is itpossible to configure the field to display it content in small popup box when we hover the cursor on the field if the text is larger then textbox?

Ah - so is the issue with a text box not showing all the data? Browser form? InfoPath doesn't support what you are asking - but try changing some of the control properties on the field - set it to multiline. I just tried that in a browser form and the text wrapped (with the box expanding to show all text).
