Sorry, I'm still not understanding. I think you are saying in the Edit view the form loads correctly but in the regular View Item view it does not?

In the new Item view, it is a blank form which is correct.

In the Edit AND View item View, it is showing all the computer types regardless of username. This is most likely because on form load, I query the main data connection. It is not specific to the username that I view or edit the item from.

So in your form load rule, you should set the main data source query user name field to the main data source data user name field, then run the query. When you open an item, the data fields will have the user name for the item.

I'm attaching the list form I used for testing this prior to suggesting it to you. Save the form locally. Right click and select design. Take a look at the form load rules. You won't be able to preview, of course, since it is connected to my Office 365 site.

I've done what was mentioned and also mimic'd the template that you just posted. Sadly this does not solve the problem. I've attached an image with the exact rules that was given in the template but it will still query the entire SharePoint List for all the computer types. So John will show all the computer types regardless of who the computer type belongs to. :(

I just wanted to reply to let you know that I was able to solve my problem! I was not setting my query fields properly. I went over and reread your posts and assigned my query username to the main data field username and it worked.
