Copying a view but making it unique

The form i am making is used for controlling items removed from an inventory(the type an how many) every type of item need its own "inventory card".

Now the creating this , it it was 1 card is easy , i made a card after regulations , and a repeating table using  "preceding" to get the function i need.

    inventory card

    Now to the problem:

I need 29 more of those, in each there own view ,  each being unique and not affecting each other.

Now of course i could make them all manually , but there has got to be a way to do this in an easier way.

I did try and copy paste, but of course all the field in all the views gets the same value, and that is a no go.

keep in mind when replying, that i am new in this, and everything i know i had to learn by trial and error and youtube

    Best regards Alkafir

I am confused. :) You need to always have 30 instances of this repeating group? Users will fill out the info above 30 times? You could use default data to ensure there are 30 instances included by default and then only show one per view - under the data tab in the ribbon, Default Values, you can just add instances. I would probably add a field to the repeating group that used a count of preceding sibling + 1 for a default or something to make it easier. I'm attaching a simple sample - save it locally, right click and select design, then you can preview. Of course, my sample may be wrong if I haven't understood.

Ok let me see if i can explain better.

What i am doing here is not a normal formular.

i got a SharePoint library  and this infopath dokument will be in that library.

the idea is that the user who need to update this dokument/formular will open the dokument, update it , then save it .

Now i know i could do the same with an excel dokument , but there are just things in infopath that makes it better for exactly this type of situation i am in.

what happen is , the user opens the dokument in the sharepoint library and starts on a "table of contents".

at this point its just a lot of buttons .

Every button leads to a View, "an inventory card", this is to give the illusion that its seperate cards in a sort of arkive.

The design and the way that every card works is the same (picture from first post), when you choose an item for the card it updates the button name, and it updates the NSN on the card , all from a list in sharepoint.

The repeating table, calculates the inventory as input is given ,

now making this work as i want is no problem, i can just create every card/view and every field manualy.

But if i could avoid creating 30 "cards" that look like the picture in the first post , just with different bindings on all fields, so each card is its own, and is allways accessible for the use,r by pressing the buttons in the table of contents, that would be the best choise,

I did try CTRL+a, the copy and paste , but that just creats a copy that updates all field in all card at the same time , and i dont want that, i want all cards to have its own bindings.

I know this is properly not what Infopath is made for , so it is properly no possible to copy  then paste and create new bindings.

    Best Regards Alkafir

So - this is why I suggested the approach in the sample form I attached. If the structure is repeating, you can copy / paste to each view and in each view display a different instance of the repeating group. Did you take a look at my sample?
