InfoPath Dev

Hello, I've created this new hire form system on InfoPath 2010\SharePoint Designer 2010. The form is currently in production. When I try to add a new section control, any existing forms that are in process will not show the new section control. If I submit a new form\request it's available. Is there any way I can allow the added section control to be visible for forms that are already in process? Hope I explained it clearly. Thank you

 You may want to check the Form Options > Versioning to make sure the template is set to upgrade existing XML. It sounds like new nodes aren't being added when old XML is opened with the updated templates. Keep in mind that if you have deleted any nodes, and you upgrade the existing XML, those will be removed.
