    Sharepoint Online "UpdateListItem"

Hi all! I'm trying to set up an InfoPath (2013) form that will be able to update an existing item on a SharePoint Online List. I'm trying to do this by using the "UpdateListItem" function on the Web Service data connection. I've followed the instructions here: http://blog-sharepoint.blogspot.hk/2009/07/summary-how-to-programmatically-update.html Although when I try to execute, I keep getting errors and the records are not properly updated (i.e. left unchanged). Would anyone in the community have any insights into this issue? Thanks! Edit: the error that I get says something like this: The form cannot be submitted because of an error. Click OK to resume filling out the form. You may want to check your form data for errors. An error occurred while trying to connect to a Web service. *An entry has been added to the Windows event log of the server. * Log ID:xxxx Correlation ID:ac2bae9d-200f-2000-464b-xxxxxxxxxxxx" I've gotten some feedback that Sharepoint Online Web Services for the "UpdateListItem" doestn' work at all, is this true? If it isn't and Sharepoint Online Web services is ok, are there any important settings I have to make sure of?

    Re: Sharepoint Online "UpdateListItem"

Unfortunately, if this is a browser form, you won't be able to use the lists web service SharePoint online. Are you using code? You may be able to use the SharePoint object model, but Sandbox has been deprecated in SharePoint Online, so I would not expect it to work for long..... If this is a browser form and you are using code, you should use the SharePoint Client object model.
