Data connection wizard is not showing : "INTEGER" type columns for InfoPath 2007 compatible in InfoPath designer 2013

Hello Team, I am publishing an InfoPath form using InfoPath designer 2013. I have kept that the form is compatible with InfoPath 2007. Since i need to use this form both in Office 2007 and in Office 2013. Now, I am trying to add DATA CONNECTION to this form. On clicking on ADD NEW DATA CONNECTION and chose the correct FORM Library, Columns present in that form library are coming. But the columns which is having DATA TYPE as INTEGER is not coming. I need this INTEGER value, since i am using this for setting and calculating the UNIQUE ID of the request. Can you please share your thoughts what is missed here ???

I've never had this problem. You mean that in your query connection to a form library, columns like ID (which is an int) can't be selected? Or other columns that are not ID but are an int type aren't in the column list? Maybe attach some screenshots under the options tab.

Yes , I mean that the columns which are int type field published from InfoPath to SharePoint List are not appearing when we are adding this same SharePoint list in our Data Connection. This situation is happening on INFOPATH 2007 compatible form developed in INFOPATH 2013 DESIGNER + VS 2012. I have used the following workaround: 1) Rather than promoting the int(Whole Number) column directly from InfoPath, I created a NUMBER column in the SHAREPOINT LIST 2) Next, While publishing the InfoPath to that SharePoint List, I have choose the INTEGER field in INFOPATH to the NUMBER COLUMN in SHAREPOINT LIST 3) Now, After publishing like this, I am able to see my NUMBER COLUMN(which is mapped with integer in InfoPath) in the data connections adding wizard. Kindly advise me if I am doing any thing wrong. please let me know if you are not clear on this problem, I will send you screenshots...

Wow - okay, I just reproduced this. I'd not seen it before. I think your work around sounds like the right approach, since it is working for you.
