I'm working on merging forms submitted to a SharePoint 2013 Forms Library (using InfoPath 2013). In SharePoint, the Merge view doesn't even show up as a choice. If I work on the forms in InfoPath, it tells me it cannot merge the forms because of a "Catastrophic failure."
I have choice fields, text fields, rich text fields, repeating fields, check boxes, and dates. Is there something in one of those field types that makes my forms not merge?
I tried creating a very simple form in a test library, with just a text field, a rich text field, and a check box, and I got the same results: no merge view in SharePoint, and "An error occurred. Catastrophic failure." in InfoPath.
Both forms were browser enabled, which I think I need for this instance.
I've looked this up and found many posts where people state this problem, but none where it's solved. Am I doing something wrong, or is this a bug? Any help you can offer would be much appreciated.
