Extract attachments from SharePoint Online Form Library

Hi Qdabra: Can Qdabra extract word/excel file attachments from a Form Library (not list!) on a SharePoint Online site? Regards, Tom

    Hi Tom,

Yes, we have a tool that can do this. It requires an hour or two to configure and then runs on all forms plus an hour or two to work with you on it. To schedule help with this, we will need the following:

    • Your form library's template - send to [email protected] or upload here if you want
    • Information on which attachments you want extracted - just send or attach a screenshot
    • Sample XML files from the library with attachments
    • Name of the library on the same site where you would like them uploaded
    • Qdabra Support Packs - we need a minimum of 4 packs. Purchase here: http://www.qdabra.com/webstore/p/43/
    • Date and time the week of Sep 19 when you can meet to review and execute the batch

We look forward to assisting you.

    Thanks!

Re: Extract attachments from SharePoint Online Form Library

Hi Patrick, Sorry to have not given you the full information - we will possibly need this support toward the end of life of InfoPath in 2026! I was enquiring to see if there was any software we buy from you that would do it so we had it as a permanent backup. We have Sharegate but it can't extract attachments from Form Libraries, only lists. Our use of extraction is also dependent on whether InfoPath Filler will still be around in 2026 and downloadable and can be used to download the attached documents. But I guess we will all be floating around in VR simulations then anyway. :) Regards, C
