I have spent most of the day researching online trying to figure out if I can actually use the UserProfileServices DataConnection in InfoPath, in an O365 SharePoint Online (2013) environment. I even went as far as to make the aspx file into a ucdx file, saved to data connection library and took out the comments on the authentication section. However, when I tried to reupload the file to the data connection library it would not let me load it with the same name "filename.aspx.ucdx" as it didn't like the .aspx in the filename. As I continued to read the instructions, as all instructions seem to have, it only says SP2013 in the title which doesn't really tell me if it is compatible with SP Online.
Can anyone assist in answering the question as to 1)Can I use userprofileservices with O365/SharePoint/InfoPath? and 2)if so, instructions on how (especially in regards to my issue with the filename resave?
