    Help with tracing an error

    Hi all,

Trying to track down the source of one of my error messages when I run my InfoPath form. I made a ton of changes in how the form works and now that I am testing it I keep getting the same error message as my VB code executes.

"Some rules were not applied. InfoPath - A call to XDocument.GetDOM failed. The DataObject "Owners" does not exist. Error occurred during a call to property or method 'GetDOM'."

Owners data source DID exist at one point, but I've since removed it and I can't track what's still looking for it.

I've tried using Rules Inspector - no luck, doesn't show any field or processing errors. I know which field being updated is triggering the error based on debugging in Visual Studio, so I tried to click on the specific field in the Rules Inspector and seeing all the associations to that field and nothing is sticking out at me.

I tried manually viewing the properties of each field one by one and seeing if there's a reference in default value to this "Owners" data source which no longer exists -- no luck.

While going through and looking at every single field's properties, I had the Rules window open and made sure there weren't any rules either.

I even went so far as to publish the source of the InfoPath form to a folder, opened manifest.xsf in Notepad++ and tried searching for "Owners" in the file.

When that didn't find any matches, I went even a step further and used the "Find in files" functionality in Notepad++ where it searches all of the files in a directory and tries to find a match in all the files.

0 instances of "Owners" found in the source files.

Could someone please steer me in the right direction on this? I have a meeting with our VP in 5 hours and I really wanted to show a demo but I can't show him this with that error message popping up lol

Disregard. I had searched for [literal, quotes included] "Owners" and in the manifest.xml it was "Owners" which is why I was not finding any matches. Deleted the ruleset and the world is right again. :)
