My DB currently has two tables, one containing project information and another one with team member names. I have a one to many relationship setup on a 'name' field in both tables. One team member to many projects.
In the form I setup a dropdown box to query/filter the project table by Team member name. To do this I have to setup a secondary data connection on the team member table in order for the names to populate the dropdown list.
In the data section of the form I'm using a repeating table that includes fields from the project table including name. When I test the form using the dropdown, the data returned from the query/filter returns the primary key value (1,2,3 etc) instead of the name of the team member. I can't figure out how to get the team member name instead of it's key value.
I did notice that access forced the number data type for the name field in my project table which must be why it returns the key value so it leads me to believe I need to change the tables/relationships in access to get this working. Just don't have enough experience to figure that out.
Thanks for the help.
