Problems with repeating table in a sharepoint list form

I have a repeating table in an InfoPath SharePoint list based form, in which I have 5 columns. 1st: Languages (gets values from a list, combo box), 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th accordingly: Read, Write, Communicate, Understand, which, being also combo boxes can get 3 values: sufficient, good, excellent. When I change one of the columns from 2nd to 5th the whole entire table is being changed, or gets the IDs from Languages column, and I also noticed that all the values in the group are kept not apart but together in “Value”: Please advise how to solve this problem?

Can you attach a copy of your form under the options tab in a reply? That may help us understand your question a little better.

So - you have a repeating table on this form that is bound to the Languages value field. What was your goal with your repeating table? Are you wanting to manage multiple list items at the same time? Right now your form is not configured for that. You'd need to start from InfoPath designer, and select SharePoint list for the template type. Then when you walk through the wizard for the template, at some point you'll see a checkbox for managing multiple items. Select that check box. Then the SharePointListItem_RW group will be repeating in your form and you can use it for your repeating table.

I have attached a print screen. My form is a SharePoint list based form which has multiple views. My goal in this view is to be able to choose good,  bad,  and excellent choices (list boxes under read, write communicate and understand tabs) each time a language is selected.

In my point of view the problem is because in SharePoint list based form a repeating table does not allow to add several fields in the repeating table group and keeps all the fields in one named "Value" (Picture 1), while in usual forms one can add as many fields as needed (Picture 2)

Re: Problems with repeating table in a sharepoint list form

The only kind of repeating table you can have in a SharePoint list form is one to one with the list items - that is, you can't have child repeating tables. That is just how list forms work. You can repeat the list item node as I mentioned above, but what you are trying to do is not possible in a list form.
