I have a repeating table with four columns to breakdown event expenses. The first column is the name of the event.

I have a repeating section in which I would like the name of the event from the repeating table to be automatically inserted which then allows for the breakdown of expenses for the event.

I have tried use a textbox in the repeating section to get the event name from the repeating table, but it repeats only the first event name throughout every additional section.

Do you know about Master Detail Control? I think you can use Master Detail Control. If you select one row in Master section then concerned row details will be displayed in Details section.
