    Re: Repeating table problem

So the list is a list of with the following columns date, employee, billing code, patient full name, notes, prof time, expense, travel time, mileage.

I will select the name and the date of the invoice in the header and that should go out and search the case management notes for any lines meeting the criteria of full name and then less than or equal to the invoice date and put them in the repeating table.

Ultimately, I will group by employee (need to total them in the background and send them to another list "employee summary)  and total the last 4 columns and add them together at the top then multiple them by the rate that pulls from another list.

So the name, adjuster and claim number pull from CDB and then once that is selected the adjuster id goes out and gets the rate from the Adjuster billing connection.  All that works fine.  Except for the invoice number which I was trying to create from combining Full name field and date field but that is minor.

I did something that made the first line of the data from Case management notes and billing go away... just playing around with the coding but I have messed with it so much not sure what I did.

Unfortunately, InfoPath will not out of the box copy repeating data from one data source to another, which it sounds like you are trying to do? You can use custom code (or qRules) for this. But maybe you just need to display the case management data?

    Re: Repeating table problem

You have a repeating table on your form bound to your main data source that has conditional formatting on it and default values that are returned from a secondary data source. If all you need is to display the data from the secondary data source, drag the repeating group from that data source onto the form instead - then the user can see the table. However, you mention some other things that I think you will find hard to implement - sending data to another list? InfoPath doesn't do that out of the box - you'll need code or qRules or CAML for that.
