InfoPath Dev

Hi folks,

 I inherited an InfoPath display form that pulls one lookup value "Date Ordered" from another SharePoint list  called "Purchase Orders."

I made a change to the form and now every item I open shows the same date in the Date Ordered -- it just so happens to corresponds to the Date Ordered field of the first item in the Purchase Orders list?

I've read several articles and nothing I've found has been able to fix the issue. 

I haven't used InfoPath in over 5 years so I'm hoping one of you can tell me what I'm doing wrong.  

I've basically added a text field and bound it to the Date Ordered filed in the secondary list Purchase Orders.

So- date ordered has a default value that uses this secondary data source? I'd guess you don't have a filter on the default - you need to select the field from the secondary data source, then click the filter data button in the bottom left of the field picker dialog and select the values you need to get the "right" date - like Purchase Order ID from the 2ds = Purchase Order ID from the main DS. It may be you have a filter in place but are missing the current function. You can attach your template under the Options tab in a reply & I can take a quick look at it (probably be tomorrow before I'll have a chance tho).

Hmmm - I don't see the file attached to your post? Maybe try again?

 

Save this file locally, right click and select design to open in design mode. I've made a guess as to the correct filter. :)
