Rule to show/hide a field based on the count of items in the Sharepoint list

Hi, I've been asked to create a training nomination/registration form. Several training sessions are offered and users nominate a particular date. Each session accommodates a maximum of 10 people.

Unfortunately the Group Resource feature has been removed from SharePoint 2013 Calendars, so wondering if there's a way to do this with InfoPath.

The InfoPath form would show all the training session dates in sections.  Each section would be displayed provided the count of the forms entered where that particular date has been nominated is less than 10.    If there are more than 10 forms submitted for that particular session, then the section would be hidden so that this fully booked session cannot be booked.

Does anyone have any ideas how to do this, or alternative solutions?

    Thank you.
