How to refresh a dropdown menu with filtered data on it

Hi guys, I've just got to a dead end and hopefully someone has the answer to this. I have a repeating table where three different fields get populated depending on each other's data. (Cascading type of fields). 1st Field: Floor. Dropdown menu getting the info from Sharepoint list. 2nd Field: Desk. Dropdown menu that only displays the desks based on the first field "Floor". This field also connects to the very same Sharepoint list as "Floor" does. Therefore when I select the first floor, this dropdown field will only display the desks on the 1st floor. 3rd Field: Person. This is a text field which gets refreshed automatically and works fine. Also connects to the very same Sharepoint list and gets the name depending on the Floor and desk that have been selected previously. All this explained above works fine. The issue is however: When the floor, desk and name are populated if the user goes back to this particular row of the repeating table and changes the floor again, the data on Desk and Name remains the same so the data is wrong. I actually need to set the "Desk" field to blank if the floor has been changed by the user so this way the third field "Person" will be refreshed automatically. THINGS I'VE TRIED AND FINDINGS: 1- "Person" field is not a problem because this is a text field instead of a dropdown. Therefore it has the "refresh automatically when the value changes" option. 2- I've created an Action rule on the "Floor" field. The condition is "none" which is the one that allows to interact when the value has been changed. Then the two actions I've tried are: - Set field "Desk" to blank. It does not work, the first selection works fine, but If I modify the floor once everything is populated then everything is set to blank and I can not add anything else. - Set field "Desk" with the values of the filter applied already on desk. I've tried this to manually apply the same filter it already has but I thought I could force it to refresh. It does not work either. 3- Formatting rules. I can not apply the "The condition is "none" which is the one that allows to interact when the value has been changed". 4- Validation rules. They don't work either. I'm running out of ideas here and I would really appreciate your help guys. Thanks so much in advance for your assistance.

Based on your description, I'd think you just need a rule on Floor to set Desk to blank when it changes. Can I see a copy of your form? You can attach it under the Options tab in a reply.

Hi Hilary, Many thanks for your quick response above all. Yes I can attach the form here but it's not going to work because the data connection points to an internal Sharepoint list. I had to remove every single data connection for privacy policies of my company. So maybe it's a bit complicated. Regarding your reply I also tried that. Rule with no condition so every time the field changes then set to blank the Desk field. It does not work because all fields got blank and I can not select any other choice. Thank you!

Yes, I understood I wouldn't be able to preview the form. Often I can look at the rules and other settings and see what may be going wrong. Can you attach a screenshot that shows how "all fields got blank and I cannot select any other choice" as I don't understand that. If the rule is on Current_floor to clear Current_desk, it should only clear the field in the instance of the repeating group where Current_floor has changed.
