I was trying to following the documentation and add a repeating field for my attachments but InfoPath complains "Cannot store this data type" .  I have attached my form.  Thanks much!

Looks like you changed the field to repeating after adding the control to your form. Delete the control on your form, then drag the attachment node back onto the form from the Fields task pane.

Thanks for your quick response Hilary. After I changed the field to Repeating and tried dragging it into the form from the Fields pane, it gives me three options: Repeating Table, Repeating Section with Controls and Repeating Section. Which one should I use?

Depends on how you want your form to look. For now, why not just try a repeating section with controls.
