I have an InfoPath form that runs two Nintex webservices when you click on a button & then closes the form. After I click the button, the webservices seems to run fine, but then I get the error: "An error ocurred querying a data source" and the form does not close. I understand getting this error in case one of the webservices fails, but they both seem to have worked fine. Does anyone have an idea as to why this would be happening? Would the SharePoint logs tell which exact data connection is failing? Can this be related to IE11? I'm confused because this error message seems to appear after the webservices have run succesfully, there is nothing else on the button.

Check the ULS logs on SharePoint - that should tell you more.

I don't have the correlation ID. The funny thing is that it happened with the same user twice, I have asked him to send me the correlation ID next time that it happens to him. The funny thing, is that the webservice seems to have run fine.

Weird error, right? It looks like the data connection and user name are switched in the error - is ECF the name of a data connection in the form? Because I'm guessing BAYCREST.ORG\fsprena is actually the user name.

ECF is the name of the InfoPath file and I published it to SharePoint with that name. I do not see any data connections with that name, only the InfoPath file is called ECF. Yes, Baycrest.org\fsprena is the user name. The weird thing is that this appears to be an intermittent error, I have not been able to replicate it on my end yet. I have increased the Default Data connection timeout from 10000 milliseconds to 100000 on SharePoint Central Admin, do you think this could help? What else do you think I can do to stop this error? I appreciate any input you can give me.

Yeah, I'm really not sure. Does Nintex have a support forum? I'm just wondering if this is something they may have seen before.

Yes, they told me it is an InfoPath issue not Nintex. Thanks though, appreciated.

Does this only happen for the one user? If you disable the workflows, can the issue be reproduced?

Quick question, if instead of using rules to run the webservices, I used code behind instead with Try/Catch, do you think it could stop this error message? Sincerely, Alberto
