Warning - There has been an error while processing the form (External Lists and Data Connections)

I have a browser form that queries an external SharePoint list via a secondary data connection.

The form worked in my dev environment but I get the error (see Subject above) in production.  I edited my form from a production server and deleted the rule and the data connection.  The error went away.  Then I recreated the data connection and rule on the production server and got the same error.  Published form back to my dev server and it worked fine.  It seems to be an permissions issue or a timeout problem maybe.  The external list is larger in prod than dev.

The only error I get is a window with "There has been an error while processing the form" "Try Again or Exit Form".  I can't find anything in my SharePoint logs on my web front ends.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Eventually, found this error in SP logs:

No default finder found for ViewGroup associated with SpecificFinder (Read Item) operation.

So I had several external lists based off of one external context type in production and only one external list based off of one external content type in dev.  For InfoPath query to work, you can only have one external list per external content type.  Confirmed this to be true :(
