Change Height on the Document Information Panel

     Hi,

Using SharePoint Online (O365) with InfoPath 2013 and Word 2013.

I am editing the DIP for a Document Content Type using InfoPath 2013. I have an increasing set of fields that need to display on the DIP but I am running out of room.

Is there a way to increase the height of the DIP displayed when a document is opened/created?

I've checked the Page Properties in InfoPath.

Can you attach a screenshot under a reply in the options tab? Maybe one that shows it in design mode in InfoPath and another how it looks in the document?

I tried to post another picture by clicking the reply button on your post - but it says it's gone to the moderator.

    I'll try again now...

We have some SPAM filtering turned on - which occasionally gets a false positive. I deleted the post in the moderation queue. Have you thought about using more horizontal space? I think there may be inherent limits around the max height of a DIP (but I've rarely used them, so I'm guessing here).

     That doesn't sound good!

I think I can probably get away with using horizontal space. These promoted fields are just to guide it through a workflow.

    Thanks Hilary.

Hi Hilary, It's cardinaltalos here again under a different guise...due to issues with my password :) I've discovered that there are several tools which seem unique to a Document Information Panel template within InfoPath 2013. How these aren't available when making a 'normal' form I don't know!! The Scrolling Region maybe helpful when it comes to including lots of content. But I think the best solution is to use multiple views, with a button to skip back and forth. I'm still trying to understand how the height of the DIP is set whenever I publish the DIP. Sometimes (depending on the controls) it displays at it's maximum height, other times at a decreased height.... Thanks for you help. Hopefully this will help someone else working with DIPs!

Thanks for the update - different views with a button to switch is a great idea!
