I'm trying to create a form in which I have a repeating table for the purposes of creating new line items in a capital expense request form. I have a QTY column and PRICE column that I simply multiply together to form the line item total. Then, in the footer, I have a form TOTAL field that is supposed to total all of the line item totals. The line item totals are working great. The footer total however simply stays at $0.00 regardless of the number of lines. I have tried the field as fx and now text box with a fx inside. The formula is simple -- sum(../my:group3/my:Line_Item/my:Total). No rules are running on the form yet. Fairly simple...I thought. Any suggestions?

 Thank you for your post on infopathdev. Can you please under textbox properties check if the "Refresh value when formula is recalculated" check box is checked?

You are using the wrong field in the formula. It should be LineTotal instead of Total.
