writing InfoPath multiple selection box to values to Text fileld

I have is a multiple-selection list box (called Access List) that pulls values from SP list as a 2nd data connection. The double eval solution work well before submitting. However, when modifying the form I only want to grab only the new checkbox selections. My solutions resulted in either the text field showing all selections as soon as something is selected, or still showing the value in the text field, even if I unselect the the checkbox. Another solution I can go for, is simply not displaying checkbox values that were already selected. So if I selected Access1 and Access2 on submit, only access3 and access 4 will be available when eding the form... like some sort of filter that remove selected values. Thanks in advance

Re: writing InfoPath multiple selection box to values to Text fileld

On Edit form, I have a rule on the "Access" selection box (from secondary SP list) to set the value in the new access text box ("New-Access")
    concat(New-Access, ., " ")
    in xpath:  concat(../../my:New_x002d_Access, ., " ")

Problem being is that when i deselect a value in the "Access" selection box, the valueremain in the New-Access Text box.

The solution to retrieving only newly selected checkboxes value from selection box when an item is modified

    1. Create a text field (Categories_Values) and set a rule to dump the value of the listbox (Categories) field into it.
    2. In SP Designer set variable, if the selection box field (Categories) has a certain  value and the Text field (Categories_Values)  DOES NOT contain that value.  That means the selected checkbox value is new.
