Not able to create new Infopath Form

Hi All, I had an InfoPath form on a SharePoint list that had gotten large and unwieldy. I deleted the form using the "Delete the InfoPath Form from the server" option. When I go to create a new form I get this error:

Now as it saves it to a temp location and deletes it once the error has popped up, I can't get into the file to fix the errors. Any ideas?

     Hi there,

Are you using the customize form option to create the form?

Hi Reema, Yes I am. I've also tried launching the New InfoPath Form from within SharePoint Designer but I get the same error.

Same happens again if I start InfoPath and try to link it to that specific list.

Re: Not able to create new Infopath Form

Ideally when you click on the customize in InfoPath, it should launch a new InfoPath form with all the column. Could you please try the below troubleshooting steps. 1. From the list setting> Form setting remove the form. 2. Click on the customize in InfoPath from the list tab. If the 2 steps are not working follow the next. 3. Save the list as template and create a new list using that template and check the behaviour. If the above test fails, check on a new list. 4. If it works on the new list and the issue is with only one list the list schema might have got corrupted and you may need to use PowerShell to fix it. 5. Take a procmon trace. (If you know how and what to look :) )
