I have become EXTREMELY frustrated now that I have discovered that SharePoint 365 has made many simple processes very difficult, or impossible as compared to on premise. I have searched like crazy to find a way to get user details (name, email, manager, department), from UserProfileService using 365, but have come up completely empty.
I wonder if anyone has a suggestion for some workaround or alternative.
