InfoPath Dev

I have a form that I need to create a workflow that checks if an attachment is there.  I did get it to work correctly however when the user goes back to add the attachment it does not see it it.  Here is the workflow can someone help!

Stage:Abstract attached
 If Current Item:Attachments equals Yes
  Email Current Item:Supervisor
  Email Current Item:Main Authors
  Log abstract attached to the workflow history list
 Else
  If Current Item:Attachments equals No
   Email Current Item:Main Authors
   Wait for Attachments to equal Yes
   Email Current Item:Supervisor
   Email Current Item:Main Authors
Transition to stage
 Go to Wait for approval change in supervisor

Is the workflow running on new and changed items? If only running on new, then it isn't going to run when the user changes an item.

I had it set to new but, I than created a seperate workflow for just the attachment field and it is still not working correctly

I did figure it out by creating a loop thanks so much for your help!
