Yes/No with default value set to 0 reset to false when publishing to SharePoint List

I have multiple checkboxes and multiple checkbox sections in a form. I am validating them by setting there default values to 0 and adding 1 if checked. Problem is when I publish the form back to the SharePoint list it resets the default value to "false" and when trying to submit it returns an error, "A number field contains invalid data. Please check the value and try again." I know it has to with the checkbox sections, because after removing the form works fine.

     Hi there,

Thank you for your post on infopathdev. Is it possible to attach the form here? I can help better by looking at the form.

     Thanks,

     Reema
