Code corruption when submitting the form

We have a form that gets submitted to SharePoint as part of our workflow. Someone goes in and approves the work and submits the form. This triggers emails to be sent for others to go in and open the form and complete the work. What we are seeing is a random corruption of data during submission. Typically the final ">" of markup code is either omitted or replaced with random characters. It is not happening to any specific person or machine. Has anyone else experienced something like this?

And the XML is generated by InfoPath? Not by some other process?

Very delayed response..... lol. I created a process that identify the corrupt code so we can fix so it fell way down in my priority list. still manual. Hilary, yes this occurs 100% within InfoPath code creation. We have still not been able to identify any pattern to this.
