OK. So I have a site and because of security concerns css is turned of so I cannot use SOAP or REST services. I read somewhere, that I didn't bookmark, that you can create a permissions list and make a data connection to that list. It seems to me that is what the original poster did.
I saw that in your explanation to him that you filtered the AccountId to all occurrences but what did the rest of the view look like?
My end goal is to be able to "disable this control" on fields based on three different user groups. I know how to create a data connection to a SharePoint list but I am not sure on how to setup that list. Is a list with the SP group permissions or a list with "user, group, permissions" as column headers?
