How to make a view read only

I have created 3 views (Request, Approve, Decline) and i would like to make Approve View read only (except an Approve & Decline button).

Is there any way to make Approve View read only (except an Approve & Decline button) - other than making each individual controls read only? If so, how?

    Hi Soham Bhatt,

In Infopath 2003 you need to create a identical view and make every control readonly by selecting Read only in the Control Properties -> Display Tab-> Check Read only. Another way is you need to change the all controls to expression boxes.

In InfoPath 2007 you can make the View Read only by Checking the check box ReadOnly in the View properties.

Thanks Shiva i already know that (doing so for individual controls) - i'm looking to make it read only at form or view level or any other way apart from each individual control properties

    Hi Soham Bhatt,

Sorry to disappoint you, and there is no other way to do this. In InfoPath 2003, we need to make each and every control is read only by selecting Read only in the Control Properties.

    Hi,

In infopath 2003, there is no option to make the whole view to read only at a time, we have to do for every control
This feature (making read only at vew level) is added in infopath 2007.

    Thanks.
