    Repeating table field

    Hi all,

First time poster here. I've got a problem with the repeating table.

I've got a rule in place where if I click on "Save/Add Event" it will submit the information to sharepoint and clears the Business name & Financial Wellbeing Session field (BDM & Week Ending still remains the same).

The problem arises now as 2 rows populate for the new entry (since the previous submission had 2 rows).

Is there a way for me to only have 1 row populate when i click save/add event?

    Thanks in advance

    Hi Bennyd,

    Welcome to InfoPathDev.

I understand you would like to delete the rows that were created by the previous submit. In order to achieve that, you would need to use code to programmatically delete rows upon clicking a button. Another opition you could do is add a rule which closes the form and redirect it to the initial page - that way, everything is refreshed. If you wish to avoid using code, you may want to try out qRules' Delete command. Hope this helps.

    Hi Don,

    Thanks for replying.

I would like to keep BDM & WeekEnding the same after the button is clicked.

    Would that be possible?

Unfortunately, no. But you could add a rule on form load that would set it for you, perhaps from another library to query (on form load) and automatically select the current BDM & WeekEnding.

    Hi Bennyd,

You would need to use C# or Visual Basic. I haven't done this yet but there are samples and guides available on the Internet.
