Hi,

I have a radio option and a multiple selection list box in my infopath form.

The multiple selection list box need to be kept mandatory only if the value from radio option is "Yes"; otherwise it is non mandatory field.

I thought of adding it using rules, but I found thevalidation rules are disabled for  multiple selection list box control.

How to enforce conditional required for a multiple selection list box?

Hi Dhijit,

May I know which type control are you using for the Multiple Selection List box? After I tested adding one and change the control type, I was able to add a validation rule to the field. If this doesn;t work for you, could you send me a sample of your form so I would have a better idea of what isn;t working for you ?

Is there a way to add validation for multichoicetype?
