I have a form that will be filled out monthly and needs to
be submitted, reviewed and approved each month. It is one form, just updated.
Each have its own workflow. Workflow #1 emails the user that needs to update
the form on a certain date. #2 emails the approver at a later date. The third changes
a field called Status that
changes from “Submitted, Reviewed, Approved”. Once it get to “Approved”, I need
a way to restart all three workflows the following month.
Here are the workflows:
Workflow #1:
If Current Item: Status
is empty
Or Current Item: Status
equal Approved
If Current Item: Submit Email Date equals Today
Email Current Item: Email Receiver
If Current Item: Status
is empty
Or Current Item: Status
equal Approved
If Current Item: Submit Email Date is great than Today
Wait for Submit Email Date to equal Today
Then Email Current Item: Email Receiver
Workflow #2:
Wait for Status to
equal Reviewed
If Current Item: Approval
Email Date equals Today
Email
Current Item: Approval Email Receiver
If Current Item: Approval
Email Date is great than Today
Wait
for Approval Email Date to
equal Today
Then Email
Current Item: Approval Email Receiver
Workflow #3:
Wait for Status
to equal Submitted
Then Start Approval
Process on Current Item with 3rd
Email Receiver
then Wait for Approval
Status to equal 0;#Approved
then Set Status
to Approved
The Email Dates
are calculated columns: =DATE(YEAR(TODAY()),MONTH(TODAY()),5)
I am able to run thru the workflow the first time, but, I
notice the status of the workflow is completed on the list. I’m assuming that the workflow will not
restart without manually restarting it. Without having to wait till next month,
is this the case? Any thoughts?
