    Substring formula or Concat formula?

I have a calculation where I need to calculate the date and time so that the day gives me actual day rounded and then the decimal is given in the partial field.

I can’t get the partial field to work correctly to the 2 decimals with the decimal included.

Here are the functions I have:

    Real Days: HourDifference / 24 = 5.46

    Day: floor(RealDays) = 5

Partial: substring-after(RealDays, ".") this field needs to read ".46" or "46"

     Hi there,

For partial value, how about you use (RealDays - Day)? That will give you the difference.

     Thanks,

Nice try and good work but when I put in the first date and time and then the 2nd tape which defaults to 00 and I reset it.  I get the following message:  "The calculation in the form has not been completed.  The number of calculations used for a single action exceeded the maximum limit"

How do the limit on number of calculations?

If I remove the calculations from the RealDays, Days, and Partial.  I do not get the error when changing the date or time and it gives me HoursDifference.

Everything up to and including the Day field is fine.  However, once I put the formula into the Partial field it errors out.  I am now limited to the Day field.  The Partial field though is what I really need and I am dependent on the other fields to complete the calculation.

     Hi Ronald,

I have resolved the issue and emailed you the working copy. Please let me know if you still get the error!

    Thanks,

It works perfectly.  How would I add 15 minute increments to the selection?
