Hello I'm trying to sync a current InfoPath library with DBXL. Below are the steps I followed, but had an issue:

1) Created a new Document Type
2) I updated the XSN template to submit to DBXL instead of the SharePoint library and uploaded to DBXL through the DAT tool.
3) Mapped the new Document Type to the SharePoint Library
4) Next I copied the XML files from the SharePoint Library and then uploaded via the DBXL Migration Tool. That was successful.

But this creates duplicate files with the DBXL DocID number as the filename in the SharePoint Library. How do I force the uploads to use the original file name?

Hi, I need help on this issue as I need to implement a project with these details soon. Can I escalate this as a production issue/request as I am currently licensed for DBXL?

After discussing with support, we realized that you may be experiencing a bug from an earlier version of DBXL. We had this issue in v2.8.

What version are you running. We're happy to help do the fix. Do you have time this week or next?

oh, we have 2.6 I think, but definitely not 2.9. Let me upgrade and see if that fixes it. I assume that once I update the template.xsn to have the correct File Name value, the import tool will import with the correct file name?

Yes, we had this problem in the earlier versions of DBXL but we have implemented a fix for v2.9 and later. Please upgrade and see if that resolves the issue.
