possible to submit form to library and email someone after particular table has been completed?

InfoPath Designer 2010 - Publishing forms in web-browser 2007 compatibility.

I have a large form with 15 views that when the submit button is clicked, it submits successfully to a document library. I also want to have additional buttons on certain tables throughout different views that will email a person once a particular table has been completed.  I don't think this is possible because you can only have one submit destination?

Example: In this large form, after the table is completed that contains a system's login credentials, I would like a button for the user to click and it will email another user letting them know that this new login information is now available.  The user that receives the email will then know to go in and verify the logon credentials actually work.

I've been unable to do this because it seems like there is only 1 submit option; either submit form to a library or email a form to a user; not both

    Is this possible?

    Hello Scott,

The scenario you're describing can be done, but in a slightly different way. I would use a helper field in your form called something along the lines of "FormStatus". When a user clicks a submit button n a particular view, the button should set the FormStatus to match the correct stage of the form, and then submit to the document library. You'll need to set up a submit data connection, and use a rule button, not a submit button.

The next part will require SharePoint Designer 2010. The program can be downloaded for free here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=16573

You'll want to promote any fields you'd like to use in the workflow, but in SharePoint designer you can create a custom list workflow that utilizes the value of FormStatus as a condition to kick-off emails to users at certain stages. Note, you will want to set your workflow to run anytime a n item is created, or an item is changed.

    Hope that helps!
    Bre
