Hi,

Not sure what section this question falls under, so I'm posting here. I have nested repeating data:  a repeating section with a repeating table within it. Using default values in InfoPath, I've created about 5 prepopulated sections each with about 3-5 preopulated rows on form load. I have enabled commands allowing users to add & delete rows/sections.

Sometimes when I delete a section or row, the form lets me do it but then nothing else works. If I update the other fields, none of my formulas work, and nothing happens when I click on buttons. I basically just have exit out of the browser & start fresh because I can't even save the form.

Interestingly enough it only seems to be a problem if I add more sections/rows. This morning I added a new default section, and when I try to delete it, the form stops working correctly.

I've looked through the forum and see that if you have a lot of rules tied to your repeating structure, it will bug out, but I do not, and everything is working as is unless I add a new section. (I've had to restore my previous version for now to avoid this bug.)

Hi Eugene,

 I haven't seen an issue like this before. I wonder if it has anything to do with the default value formulas in your form. I see that two of the fields in your MLWM_Expense_Fields group have default value formulas (ML_Market and ML_Complex), and there are a lot of default value formulas that depend on this table.

Could you try removing the default value formulas relating to the MLWM data, to see if doing so stops the form from bugging out? For reference, you can open the Rule Inspector to see all of the form's default value formulas.
