    Codeless solutions for several problems

     Hi all,

i have following problems (each problem is independed from another) and need some codeless solutions for them:

    1) I have a library form with a repeating table. After choosing from a dropdown a value, repeating table should be populated from a SharePoint list with that value as a filter. I could add just this data connection data fields and set query filed to this choosen value, but in this case i can't add another fields to this repeating table.

    2) On a specific condition add a row to a repeating table.

    3) I have  a SharePoint list with say 5 items: A-"1", A-"15", A-"100", B-"2", B-"50". I wan't to create a repeating table, which query all "A" items, perform calculation with values (say 1*5+15*10+100*45) and have 1 row with the calculated value for "A". Then the same for "B". At the end there should be 2 rows: "A" and "B" with calculated values.

    4) Right now for the first problem i use solution with adding data fields directly from the data connection. I need to display all data from this connection with a field NOT equal to 0. Perhaps it is possible by making some changes in manifest.xsf, but i can't figure out how.

    5) Export form to pdf/jpg by clicking on a button

    6) i use a solution from https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/office/cc162745(v=office.12).aspx for submitting data from a repeating table to a SharePoint list. There is described, how to create new items. Is it possible also change items in that SharePoint list directly from a repeating table? I tryed to set "Action" and "ID" for CAML, but that didn't worked.

Many thanks for any help in advance!!!

    Best regards

    Hi Shmul,

Inerting a row and submitting to a SharePoint list would require code, but if you wish for a codeless solution, you may want to check out qRules' Insert (allows inserting rows) and SubmitToSharePointList commands.

    1) Are you trying to copy the data from an external list using a dropdown filed as filter for the query?
    2) This is one of InfoPath's limitatins and you will need to use code for this, otherwise you could use qRules' Insert command for a codeless appraoch.
    3) We could use a bunch of formulas to extract or filter out values based on a condition
    4) You could use freewares such as CutePDF or FoxitReader to print forms as PDFs (using CTRL + P)
    5) To update items, I believe you would need to set CMD to Update at the mapping file in order to modify an existing data in SharePoint.
