Some user (not all) when using their login account cannot save in sharepoint.

Hello All...this is my first post...actually I come across with this forum upon searching for the solution. Have problem with some user, when using their account to login the PC, they cannot save the form into library instead showing an error as below, but all is ok if they using other account to login the PC and click save:

     InfoPath cannot submit the form

An error occurred while the form was being submitted.

The form cannot be submitted to the following location: http://example/sites/example/libray/Service_Request -filename.xml

The file "http://example/sites/example/example/Service_Request -filename.xml" is checked out for editing by i:0#.w| domain\username.

    The operation completed successfully.

Really appreciates any inputs to solve this problem...thanks a lot.

    Hi Rhett,

I haven't encountered this issue yet, but could you try clearing the Credential Manager cache and see if that helps? This can be accessed via Control Panel.  Select the entry for the web application URL in Credential Manager and delete it by selecting “remove from vault“.

By the way, keep a back up in case there are passwords that are needed to be kept.

    Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply...Follow your advice but not helping...So is it possible because of incompatibility? The form was created using InfoPath 2007 and running in SharePoint 2013? Please response. Thanks.

    Hello Rhett,

Sorry for not seeing your last post. We have been seeing some issues with SharePoint 2013 and I'm not even sure if this is one of the issues included, but it is highly possible and might need converting your form/s to 2013.
