Error setup while add a Submit data connection to the UpdateListItems method of the SharePoint Lists web service

I am following once of your article to create a Request Form similar to an Expense report. The closest documentation I found on your forms was titled "qRules SubmitToSharePointList - Walkthrough for v4.2" (http://www.infopathdev.com/blogs/hilary/archive/2012/05/30/qrules-submittosharepointlist-walkthrough-for-v4-2.aspx) I am using a trial version of qRules 6.1 and intend to purchase if I am successful in my high priority important PoC. I am at the step where we need to "add a Submit data connection to the UpdateListItems method of the SharePoint Lists web service" I give http:///_vti_bin/lists.asmx In the "Data connection wizard" after selecting "UpdateListItems"--> next screen shows 2 parameters (which I cannot remove) tns:listname (string) and tns:updates "Infopath was unable to create a schema from the results of the Web service call" The SOAP response indicates that an error occurred on the server: Exception of type 'Microsoft.SharePoint.SoapServer.SoapServerException' was thrown. Value does not fall within the expected range. Hence the Data connection step cannot be completed.

Hi - are you creating a submit data connection? It sounds like you may be creating a receive data connection instead.

So silly. Yes. You are right.
