Qrules 6.1 - Unable to have the module Working

Hello. I'm having some trouble in get the module working.

I just followed the instructions, searched for other newbies in my conditions...but seems i'm the onliest with problems in getting the module to work.

I can compile and send the module to the list.

The workflow start, and I'm noticed of the task waiting to be reviewed.

But when I go to the Module, I find the drop down list empty.

I tried three time to restart from scratch... i bought the final solution ... but still unable to have it working.

Please..can you provide me some suggestion  on how to troubleshoot this ?

    Thanks again

    I uploaded the xsn file

Hi, what do you mean by the module? Are you going through some training module? Which one?

HI, the module is the Expenses Report.

It is included in the WebinarPackage20130131

I have uploaded it in the previous post.

Please let's know if i can provide you more information in order to simplify your support.

    Thanks again

     Hello Roberto,

Thank you for your question. What version of SharePoint are you using?

To clarify what is happening in the form, when you submit the tasks are being generated in the list, but when you open an expense report, the tasks are not showing in the dropdown?

Any details and screenshots you can include will help with debugging. You also have to option of purchasing support time here: http://www.qdabra.com/en/support.aspx

    Thanks!

     My SharePoint version is 2013

Here ttached you can find some screenshot related to my implementation of your demo.

I will consider the opportunity to have some support, paying for it... but I would like to be able to run almost the demo.

I have just spent 695 USD for the package, and not yet able to have a simple solution working.

So please let me know if you can support me for this problem.

I thank you again for your time.

    Hi, Roberto -

Okay, from the screenshots it appears that your tasks are being created correctly.

There is a filter on the tasks dropdown that likely needs to be modified for your environment. It includes our domain (see attached screenshot) - instead, the concat statement should use your domain instead of AutonomySystems.

Oh, and I'd guess other things in that filter may also be wrong - looking at your screenshot, completed tasks would be "Completato", right? You'll probably need to translate those strings so they match your tasks.

Thanks for your hints. I uploaded the last version of the Template. I modified the fields as you suggested, but ... nothing changed I changed the Refused anc Accepted terms with corect translated words. Any more hint is appreciated. Roberto

Re: Qrules 6.1 - Unable to have the module Working

I would drag the data fields over onto the form someplace (the data fields in the data connection used by the drop down) to verify data is being returned. Start there - then you can work through the filters one by one. If data is returned, I'd probably remove all the filters, then add them back one at a time. Boring, I know, but sometimes the quickest path to figuring out the issue.

Thaks to your suggestions I have been able to have the form working.

It was a matter of localization, as you hinted me.

So I checked everywhere for words that needed to be changed from Completed to Completata and so on.

So thank again for your support.
