Using the 'UpdateListItems' Web Service and XML File method to create a new Item in an Infopath Form Library

     Hi,

I have been successfully using the 'UpdateListItems' Web Service and XML File method in InfoPath 2010 to create, update, and delete items in any SharePoint List (thanks to an instructional package I purchased from the Qdabra site).  However, when I try to use the same method to create an item in an InfoPath Library, I don't get the desired results.  An item is created within the library, however it is not an InfoPath Form.  It has a white Icon and instead of the .xsn or .xml extension (depending on my Library's Content Type Settings), it has a '.000' extension.

I would be absolutely grateful for any assistance that can help me resolve this issue.

    Dear William,

No Unfortunately I haven't and am still having to use a workflow to achieve the desired results.

Grateful for any help you may be able to offer.

     Cheers,

     Ali
