    Different View Submission

Hi, I have one form which has three different views (Payoll, IT & HR views)..... I want to be able to send each view to a different email address and when that particular department opens up the form I do not wish for them to be able to see the other two views.... Is this possible?? I have tried the Form Load option by adding three different rules but this did not work. Any help would be much appreciated. Kind regards Glenn

Hi - I can think of a few options here:

    1. If you are using Filler, you could use User Roles - more here: http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/infopath-help/add-a-user-role-HP010165119.aspx#BM5 (this is for IP 2007, but since you already know where the form load rules are, you should be able to get the gist)
    2. You could use input parameters - more here: http://blogs.msdn.com/b/infopath/archive/2007/02/26/passing-data-into-a-form-input-parameters.aspx - you'll have to add code for this (or you can use qRules) but the idea is you'd include an input param in the link to the form in the email so that when they click it, the view opens correctly
    3. You could start with a "landing page" view in the form and add logic to switch to the correct view on a button click based on the user's name - maybe have a SharePoint list of form users & their department that you leverage for the logic.

Hi Hilary, That was superb. Just what I needed. Thank you very much. Another quick question if you do not mind.... Is there a way of having a password within a form?? Eg - a user opens the form, completes the form and then has to enter a password in order to activate the submit button to submit the form. Users using this form could be in the region of 100+ users. Kind regards Glenn
