Passing a Parameter into an InfoPath Form from Another Site Collection

I'm hoping someone can help me with this.  Here's what I would LIKE to do:

I am dealing with 2 SP site collections in 2 different web applications.

    1. Site 1 is the user's collaboration site.  We'll say the url is collab.orgname.org.
    2. Site 2 is our app site for things that are coded.  We'll say the url is apps.orgname.org.

I would like to have a button on Site 1 that brings up a form from Site 2.  Simple enough.  But I would also like to pass a parameter into the form to let me know what information to display.  That is what is causing me grief.

I would like to do this without code, but if that isn't possible, I'll take whatever anyone can suggest!

Thanks for your help in advance!!!!

BTW...this is in InfoPath 2010, and the form is web enabled.  And is NOT in Office 365.  =)

Didn't get an answer, but figured it out with the help of this document:  Use GetInputParameter to pass data from one form to another

    I tried two different things:

    1. Creating a new form on the Site 1 that gets the parameter from a Query Data String, and then linking to the form on Site 2 from the new form.
    2. After seeing that I was just using a parameter in the URL when calling the form on Site 2, I created a button on a page in Site 1 with the url+parameter to the form in Site 2.  Worked like a charm!

Sorry I missed this - and great job figuring it out!
