    QRules and Web Forms

    Hello,

I have a form I am working on where I want to eventually access it as a web form using the InfoPath Form Web Part. I have Qrules 6.1 injected, and everything works fine in Development. I can publish the form as a content type, and have the settings enabled for web form and compatibility. However, when I publish to production, it tells me the form contains features that are not compatible with Web browsers. I have verified all the settings I can get to, short of CA on production.

In development we are NOT using InfoPath Form Services, but production is.

Any help or guidance would be appricated. So far, all the posts I have found have been dead ends, since all the settings are there currently.

    Thanks!

When you injected your form, did you select the "Browser" option? Or was it maybe injected with the "Rich Client" option? Maybe try re-injecting again, and select Browser and see if you still get the error message.

    Hi Hilary,

I gave that a try and got the same result. The options for Web Forms and Sandbox were selected. I then updated the template on the content type as well as in the form library (without re-publishing though InfoPath), but still got the same error when trying to wire it up in the web part.

    Thanks!

It must be something with the server setup. I published a form with just some text on it and got the same error when trying to connect it with the web part. The test form has no data connections, rules, and is not injected, just some text.

Any thoughts from a server/site setup perspective that may cause this issue?

    Thanks again!

I generally go check the SharePoint logs in a case like this - do you have access to those? If so, that may give you some insight into what is going wrong.
