Hi all!
I have a root site(L1) with a subsite(L2) and
sub-subsites(L3+).
On the sub-subsites(L3+) I am displaying subsite(L2) it's document
library.
When uploading a document on the sub-subsites(L3+) the file gets
uploaded to the subsite(L2)'s document library. This works fine (i see
all documents in the folder and in the main library).
However, when I want to open one of the documents from the sub-subsites(L3+), it can not find the file.
After some testing I figured out that when adding the document library webpart to the subsite(L2) or the root site(L1) it works.
When I checked the link on the sub-subsites(L3+) i saw what is going
wrong but I have no idea where/how/why that happens or how to fix it.
When hovering over it, it displays the right path in the status bar
but when right clicked and looking at the properties it tries to find
and open the file in the sub-subsites(L3+) library.
Can anybody help me out with this?
